Where is Hotel Winzerhof located in Tramin?

Hotel Winzerhof is situated on a hillside above Tramin, towards the district of Söll, offering a beautiful view over the valley. It is only 5 km from Lake Kaltern.

Parking & E-Mobility

Are there parking facilities at the hotel or a garage?

Hotel Winzerhof offers parking directly at the hotel. There is no garage available.

Can I charge my electric car or e-bike at the hotel?

E-bikes can be safely stored and charged.
The charging station for electric cars can be used in the evening hours upon prior registration.

Check-In / Check-Out

When can I check in and when is check-out?

Check-in: from 3:00 PM
Check-out: until 10:00 AM

Rooms & Facilities

Are the rooms equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi?

All rooms offer free high-speed Wi-Fi.
Air conditioning is available only in selected room categories.

Do the rooms have a minibar?

No, the rooms do not have a minibar. Medication, baby food, or special food items can be stored at the bar.
The bar is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM.

Does the hotel have an elevator and is it barrier-free?

The hotel has an elevator and access options for guests with reduced mobility. However, it is not fully equipped for wheelchair users.

What is the difference between the main building and the annex?

The main building includes the reception, bar area, dining room, and terrace.
The annex can be reached via the walkway around the house or through the indoor pool area.

What meals options does Hotel Winzerhof offer?

  • Evening menu with themed evenings and various buffets
Are there special dietary options for food intolerances?

Vegetarian alternatives are available.
For gluten or lactose intolerance and vegan meals, a surcharge of €10 per week applies.

Wellness & Pool

Is there a pool and wellness area?

Yes, the hotel features an outdoor pool as well as a heated indoor pool with whirlpool.
The sauna area includes a Finnish sauna, salt grotto, and steam bath.
During summer, the sauna area is only open upon reservation due to high temperatures and lower demand.

Does the hotel offer massages and beauty treatments?

Yes, various massages and cosmetic treatments can be booked directly at the reception.

Does the hotel have a fitness room?

No, there is no fitness room. However, yoga classes are offered.

Leisure & Activities

Does the hotel offer leisure activities or wine tastings?

Wine tastings with local winemakers are organized at the hotel during special events.
Winery tours, guided visits, as well as guided hiking or bike tours can be booked at the reception or online.

Is there a bicycle rental service?

The hotel does not have its own bicycle rental service.
A bicycle and e-bike rental is available in the center of Tramin (approx. 5 minutes on foot).

What additional services does the hotel offer?
  • Free rental of hiking backpacks and hiking poles
  • Laundry service for sportswear (for a fee)

Family & Children

Is the hotel child-friendly? What facilities are available for children?

Children are very welcome at Hotel Winzerhof.
The hotel offers a large garden with a small playground and children’s menus.
Additionally available: high chairs, games for loan, table football, kettle, baby bathtub, and baby cot.

Reception & Service

What are the reception opening hours?

The reception is open daily from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

Is there a guest card?

Upon arrival, you will receive the South Tyrol Guest Pass for the duration of your stay.
This allows you to use all public transportation in South Tyrol free of charge.

Cancellations

What are the current cancellation policies?

There is no right of withdrawal according to the Consumer Protection Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).
However, the following cancellation conditions apply:

  • Up to 30 days before arrival: no cancellation fee
  • 29 to 14 days before arrival: the deposit will be retained or 3 days per person will be charged
  • From 13 days before arrival, in case of no-show, late arrival, or early departure: 100% of the booked arrangement will be charged

 

We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
